HTML Introduction


HTML is the standard markup language for creating Web pages.

HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. All the web pages and all its contents are coded in HTML. Browsers do not display the HTML tags, but use them to display the contents of the page.

HTML requires no specific libraries to be installed or any special IDE to code in. HTML can be coded in simple rich text editor like notepad also. All you have to do is to save the file with an extension of .html

However for armature programmers who prefer drag and drop features, there are many hybrid editors available for HTML coding
